George Nelson’s book How to See explores visual literacy, the ability to decode nonverbal messages, focusing on how we see the world around us. Using this book as inspiration, Herman Miller wanted to provide an event kit that could be run by local A+D reps for showroom workshop activation. The kit included a presentation overview of relevant concepts from How to See, invite and thank you cards, and a field guide with visual exercises for each event participant.
